Teal Nation encouraged to dress in its best ‘90s fit for Friday night’s game
CONWAY, S.C. – It's time to press rewind.
Coastal Carolina Athletics is taking a trip back to the '90s for Friday night's annual "Wait Til You See This" matchup against App State, bringing the bold colors, big personalities and unmistakable style of the decade to Brooks Stadium.
Coastal and App State will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 16, with the game set to air nationally on ESPN2.
The Chanticleers will take the field in a limited-edition '90s-inspired uniform combination, designed to capture the look and feel of an era that helped shape sports, television, fashion and pop culture.
The inspiration for the look goes beyond the football field.
The uniforms draw from the colorful, oversized and unmistakably '90s aesthetic seen in iconic television shows such as Saved By The Bell, Boy Meets World, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Friends, and many more.
From bold color combinations and oversized graphics to the fun, larger-than-life style that defined the decade, the goal was to bring that same energy to Coastal.
And on Friday night, that look will come to life at Brooks Stadium.

The limited-edition, game-worn '90s jerseys will be available for purchase later this week, giving Chanticleer fans the opportunity to take a piece of Friday night's throwback home with them.
But five lucky fans won't have to wait.
As a thank you to the fans who continue to show up, support the Chanticleers and make Brooks Stadium the best home-field environment in the country, five lucky fans attending Friday night's game will be selected to win a '90s-inspired jersey. Winners will be announced in the fourth quarter (must be present to win).
