- Played one year of postgraduate football at Fork Union Military Academy for head coach Frank Arritt
- Lined up at wide receiver, defensive back, and long snapper
- Helped to lead FUMA to a 7-2 record on the season in 2022
- Was invited to the Charlotte Football Insiders Winter Showcase

- Lettered in football at Powdersville High School in Greenville, S.C.
- Lined up at wide receiver, cornerback, safety, and long snapper for the Patriots his senior year
- Also played for two years at Eastside High School
- Helped lead the Patriots to a 12-1 overall record, a AAA Region 2 Championship, and advance to the quarterfinals of the 2021 South Carolina Football State Championships (SCHSL) Class AAA Playoffs
- Had an interception in the fourth quarter to seal the playoff win over Wren HS and send the Patriots to the quarterfinals
- Was also a member of the track & field team at Powdersville, competing in the sprint events
- Broke the Powdersville school record in the 100-meters
- Chose Coastal over Indiana, Wake Forest, Charleston Southern, Western Carolina, and Robert Morris
