Gregory Bourn was named the associate director of football speed, strength and conditioning at Coastal Carolina University in February 2024
He most recently held the position of Director of Football Sports Science/Assistant Director of Football Sports Performance at Eastern Kentucky University
Prior to his time at Eastern Kentucky, Bourn spent four seasons in the Miami Marlins' organization as a minor league strength and conditioning coach. He held the same position in the Red Sox and Phillies' organizations. Bourn has served as an intern assistant strength and conditioning coach at the University of North Texas and with Houston Astros major league organization.
Bourn a 2014 graduate from Miami University in Oxford, OH spent two years as a student assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Bourn is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a Certified Sport Performance Coach with United States of America Weightlifting (USAW), and is certified through the American heart association with basic life support (CPR & AED) certification.
