Coastal Carolina University Athletics

AraLeigh Beam was named Associate Athletic Director for Compliance in April 2016 at Coastal Carolina University.

Beam previously served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance since August 2013 after being named Interim Director of Compliance in January 2013. Overall, Beam has been with Department of Athletics since 2008, when she was named Assistant Director of Compliance.

Beam has been employed by Coastal Carolina since 2005, when she served in the University's Office of the Registrar, where she worked directly with the Department of Athletics to determine NCAA athletic eligibility for student-athletes. She also handled all aspects of student enrollment, grade production and distribution, and graduation verification.

Beam earned a master's degree in business administration from Webster University in 2008 and a bachelor's degree in business administration with a double major in marketing and management from Coastal Carolina University in 2004. Beam grew up in Hartsville, S.C, and now lives with her husband Jeremiah and two children, Grant and Greycie.
