Alex Souza
	Position: Assistant Athletic Event Operations Director Year at Coastal: Second

Alex Souza begins his second year in the role of Assistant Athletic Event Operations Director at Coastal Carolina University, overseeing all of the department's video streaming efforts along with other event operations duties.

Souza is no stranger to Coastal Carolina, as he worked as a student as a game operations intern. He helped out in the online video streaming, working as a cameraman and a switcher for volleyball, soccer, baseball and basketball events. Souza also helped in the setup and breakdown of athletic venues and was a liaison to referees, opposing teams and special guests during athletic events.

Souza spent the past two summers working as a production intern for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, the High-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. He also has worked with Fox News Channel and ESPNU in production.

Souza graduated from Coastal Carolina with a bachelor's degree in communication. He was nominated for Coastal Carolina Student Worker of the Year and was a Dean's List student in the fall of 2006 and 2007.

Souza lives in Myrtle Beach.
