Six local families will enjoy Christmas thanks to donations

Cari Rosiek is in her third year as the Associate Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator and eighth overall at Coastal Carolina University. She previously served for four years as the Event Operations Coordinator for the athletic department.

Rosiek was a four-year letterwinner for Jess Dannelly's nationally-recognized softball program from 1996-99, starting every possible game of her career, a mark that reached 227. As a starter on the 1998 squad, she helped lead the Lady Chanticleers to the Big South Conference Tournament title and the school's first-ever berth in the NCAA Tournament. She currently ranks in the top-10 in four single-season categories, including the top mark in sacrifice hits, and also ranks in eight career categories for the Lady Chanticleers. She graduated from Coastal Carolina in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in physical education.

Prior to her return to Coastal Carolina in 2004, she was an operations manager for part of the Burroughs and Chapin Corporation for four years. There, she handled budgetary issues as well as supervising a 90-member staff for one of Burroughs and Chapin's properties.

Rosiek was married in 2006 to Jake Rosiek, the University's Intramural Coordinator, and the couple resides in Conway with their son Caulin (1).
