Lucius Jordan was named speed, strength and conditioning assistant at Coastal Carolina University in 2011. In addition to assisting with oversight of speed, strength and conditioning for Chanticleer Athletics, Jordan works specifically with men's and women's track and field, men's soccer, women's tennis and women's cross country.
Previously, Jordan spent two years at the University of Georgia, where he earned a master's degree in kinesiology in 2011 and interned with the Olympic Sports program. At Georgia he assisted the baseball, volleyball, track, women's soccer, and women's basketball teams.
Jordan served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at the Nike SPARQ Combine in Boston in 2009. He was responsible for assisting with player development programs for soccer, football, baseball, and lacrosse players of various skill levels from high school to professional.
Jordan received a bachelor's degree in exercise and sports science with a concentration as a health fitness specialist in 2009 from East Carolina University. He holds certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and United States Weightlifting.
Jordan is originally from Houston, Texas.
