Bruce Gregory has been senior associate athletic director for internal operations at Coastal Carolina University since 2009. His duties include the supervision of football, men's basketball, baseball, men's soccer, men's golf, and men's track and field and cross country. In addition, he supervises facilities and game operations, sports medicine and strength and conditioning, as well as provides oversight of the athletics business office and the Department of Athletics budget. He also served as associate athletic director for internal operations in 2008-2009 and director of athletic compliance from 2003-2008.

Gregory was appointed to serve on the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Committee in 2012.

He came to Coastal Carolina from Eastern Michigan University, where he served in a variety of roles from 1998-2003 including: assistant director of compliance, director of football operations and assistant football coach. Gregory was an assistant coach at the University of New Haven in 1997, when the team attained a 12-2 record and was the NCAA Division II runner-up.

Gregory worked at Bowling Green State University as an assistant football coach from 1986-1988 and from 1992-1995. He was part of the coaching staff that helped lead the team to the MAC championship and a victory in the Las Vegas Bowl in 1992. Gregory also served as the wide receivers coach at Boston University from 1988-1991 and as the offensive coordinator at Hofstra University in 1996.

Originally from East Stroudsburg, Pa., Gregory earned a bachelor's degree in physical education from Western Maryland College in 1984 and a master's degree in sports administration from Eastern Michigan in 2003.

An avid runner, Gregory has completed 26 marathons, including Boston seven times. His father, Jack Gregory, is a former athletics director at Bowling Green State University. Gregory and his wife Tracy have two children: Megan and Brian.
