Senior men's golfer Sam Lyons was named the Coastal Carolina Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 21.

Lyons earned co-medalist honors at The McLaughlin in Farmingdale, N.Y., this past weekend, shooting rounds of 73-68-67=208. His six-under performance also helped the Chanticleers to the team title at the Bethpage Park Red Course.
