Coastal Carolina University men's basketball player Logan Johnson has been named the Coastal Carolina Athlete of the Week for his performance Dec. 27-Jan. 4.

In four wins for the Chanticleers, Johnson averaged 13.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists while shooting 56.4 percent from the floor. This included a career-high 19 points in the win over Cornell College Dec. 27. Most recently, Johnson led the Chants with 16 points in a 76-62 win over Presbyterian.

Coastal Carolina takes a 10-game winning streak to UNC Asheville Thursday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m.
