Baseball Season Game Tickets

CONWAY, S.C. -- Season tickets for the 2010 Coastal Carolina University baseball season will go on sale Monday, Feb. 1, as the Chanticleers look to earn their fourth straight Big South Conference Championship and make their ninth NCAA Tournament appearance in the last 10 years.

The 2010 home slate is the most challenging in history for the program  and features nationally-renowned programs, including preaseason No. 8 UC Irvine taking on the No. 12 Chanticleers at Baseball at the Beach and No. 19 San Diego coming to Watson Stadium/Vrooman Field for a three-game weekend series. Among the other recognized programs headed to the Grand Strand for baseball this year are Kentucky, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Michigan, Illinois, NC State, Pittsburgh, College of Charleston, UNC Wilmington and Wake Forest.

This season there are two options for watching the three-time defending Big South Champion Chanticleers, as there will be $200 and $125 levels.

The $200 reserved seats include all 30 regular season home contests as well as a complimentary daily pass to Baseball at the Beach at BB&T Coastal Field February 25-28. Your seat in Watson Stadium/Vrooman Field will be a reserved seat in the center section behind home plate, and the $200 option allows you to place your name or business name on the seats.  The purchase includes a $150 donation to Baseball Capital Improvements.      

The $125 season ticket is good for general admission for the 30 scheduled regular season home contests at Watson Stadium/Vrooman Field.  The purchase includes a $75 donation to Baseball Capital Improvements.

In addition, season ticket holders will be given priority in purchasing tickets for the NCAA Regionals and Super Regionals, should Coastal Carolina advance to the postseason and be selected to host.

Season ticket sales will end Thursday, February 18th and single game tickets will be available for purchase online at www.GoCCUsports.com or at the gate. The single game admission prices are as follows:

• Regular admission - $7
• Senior citizens (55+) and youth (under 19) - $5
• CCU students, including LifeLong Learners - free with valid ID
• CCU Faculty/staff and one guest - free with ID
• Faith or community groups (minimum of 10) - $3 per person
• Organized teams - $1 per person
• Professional baseball scouts - free with team credentials
