2012 Softball Promotions

On field Promotions

Dizzy Bat

Two contestants have to spin around with their forehead on a bat 15 times and then race from home plate to third base. The winner goes home with a pizza from Papa John's. The loser goes away with free bread sticks courtesy of Papa John's Pizza.

Cow Tipping

Using a Chick-Fil-A inflatable cow, we will take the contestant out to left field, blindfold them, and then spin them around 10 times. Then a member from the promotions team will ring a cow bell beside the cow and the contestant must follow the sound of the bell and try to tip the cow over. If the contestant successfully tips the cow then they win a free meal from Chick-Fil-A of Conway.

Bat Splash

Two contestants are pitched 4-7 water balloons and they have to burst the balloons with the bat. The contestant who breaks the most balloons wins Chick-Fil-A meal of Conway.

Junk in the Trunk

The contestant will have 8 ping pong balls in an empty tissues box, attached to their waist. By jumping, shaking, bending or moving around the contestant will have to get the ping pong balls out of the tissue box in 60 seconds or less. Contestants are not allowed to use their hands. If successful the contestant will win a free meal gift certificate to Zaxby's. (Play Jump Around music)

Beach Tennis

Rally a ping pong ball back and forth using scuba flippers (and only flippers) for at least 15 seconds in a 60 second window of time, without letting it hit the ground. If the contestants are successful they will each win $10 to Eggs up Grill.

Tire Race

Two contestants will be chosen to race two tires from first base along the outside of the infield to third base, the winner will receive a free oil change courtesy of Tire Town.

Toss that Chicken

Contestant will have the option to throw three chickens into three different buckets of different values. The closest bucket will be worth 25 points, the second, 50 and the furthest bucket will be worth 100 points. If the contestant scores 225-300 points they will win a week's worth of Papa John's Pizza. 125-200 points gets the contestant a CCU t-shirt and 25-100 points gets the contestant a CCU reusable shopping bag or a CCU Sling Bag. If contestant fails to score any points they will be asked to leave the campus immediately.

In the stands promotions

                1. If the Chants can prevent (insert team name) from scoring any runs this inning, everyone in attendance today will receive $2 off coupons Eggs up Grill.

                2. If the Chants hit back to back homeruns this inning one lucky fan will go home with a pizza and free bread sticks courtesy of Papa John's Pizza.

                3. If any Coastal player can get an RBI this inning, one lucky fan will go home with a Coastal T-shirt.

                4. If any Coastal player can draw a walk this inning two fans wearing their Coastal gear will win CCU car magnets.

                5. Catch of the Day for Chick-Fil-A, if Coastal turns a double play at any point during this inning, then three lucky fans will be going home with a Chick-Fil-A sandwich.
