Women's Cross Country Places Second at UNCW Seahawk Invitational
CCU has two of the top four finishers in the event.

WILMINGTON, NC - Coastal Carolina's women's cross country squad continued a solid early part of the season, placing second at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational, Sept. 10. Both the men's and women's races were affected by extensive rain prior to and throughout the race.
Running without 2003 NCAA Qualifier Anne-Marie Moutsinga, Coastal still placed two runners into the top four finishers. Kim Nemergut and Aubrey Bergquist placed third and fourth, respectively, to help CCU to its finish behind Big South rival High Point. Also placing in the top 10 were Nikki Jasperson (13th), Eileen Wicker (15th) and Danielle Hagler (19th).
Coastal is next in action Sat., Sept. 18 at the UNC TarHeel Invitational at 10 a.m.
