Women's Cross Country Concludes Season at NCAA Southeast Regionals

LOUISVILLE, KY. - The Coastal Carolina University women's cross country team concluded its season at the NCAA Southeast Regional 6k at Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, Ky. on Nov. 14. The Chanticleers finished 29th overall.

Freshman Janel Reeves was the top finisher for the Chants at 135th with a time of 23:13.06. Next to finish was Christian Johnson at 23:21.87 for 147th, followed by Theresa Schamberger at 150th with a time of 23:23.63. Shelby Donahue finished 162nd at 23:33.01 and Rindi Wood finished at 24:33.41 for 200th. Rounding out the pack was Jessica Dennison at 225th with a time of 25:47.98.

Duke was the top-team finisher with 69 points and University of Virginia's Catherine White took home the individual title with a time of 20:03.90.
