Freshman Megan Bickford had a career-high three block solos against Radford on Friday night. It was just the third time this season and the second Lady Chanticleer to have three block solos in a match. Sophomore Jill Nyhof tallied three block solos against both Samford (Sept. 2) and Presbyterian (Sept. 29).

No Errors For Kimes
Freshman Chelsy Kimes committed no attacking errors against Liberty, marking the first time this season she has not made an attack error in a match. Previously, her fewest errors in a match was one, coming in Coastal’s 3-0 sweep of South Carolina State.

Starbuck Reaches 30 Again
For the second time this season, junior Brett Starbuck recorded a 30-dig match. The libero from Glen Allen, Va. tallied 30 digs against Radford on Friday night. Just a week before, Starbuck set a new career-high with 37 digs against High Point on Friday, Oct. 12.

.400 Or Better
Looking at the stats from the Radford match on Friday night, Coastal’s individual hitting stands out. Four different Lady Chants hit above .400 and recorded at least one kill per game played. Freshman Megan Bickford led the team with a .552 hitting percentage, making 18 kills off 29 total attacks. Also hitting above .400 were senior Nakia Thompson (.429), sophomore Jill Nyhof (.410) and freshman Amanda Russell (.429).

On The Road Again
The Lady Chants are on the road for the rest of the 2007 season. Coastal has five regular season matches remaining and then ventures to Liberty for the Big South Tournament Nov. 15-17.

No More Tuesday Nights
