Bickford finished the week with 39 kills, 15 blocks and 18 digs to lead the Chanticleers to a 3-0 record last week, including handing UNC Asheville its first conference loss this season. The middle blocker averaged 2.79 kills, 1.29 digs and 1.07 blocks per set. She started the week registering 13 kills, a .524 attack percentage, eight digs and six blocks in the 3-1 win over Charleston Southern on Oct. 13. She had another great performance in the 3-2 win against Gardner-Webb on Oct. 16, posting 11 kills, a .360 hitting percentage, six digs and four blocks. Bickford rounded out the week with four digs and five blocks as Coastal Carolina defeated UNC Asheville 3-2.
Livesay posted 43 kills, a .317 hitting percentage, 36 digs and four blocks in the Chanticleers’ three wins last week. An outside hitter, she started the week with 15 kills, a .591 attack percentage, 10 digs and one block in the win over Charleston Southern. She helped the Chanticleers to a 3-2 win over Gardner-Webb registering a career-high 18 kills and 12 digs. Livesay finished the week with 10 kills, 14 digs and three blocks in the 3-2 win over UNC Asheville. In the three-match span, she tallied her fourth, fifth, and sixth double-doubles of the season and averaged 3.07 kills per set. This is the second time Livesay has earned Big South Freshman of the Week honors this season.
