Leave It To Wolf
Junior Kristin Wolf had a standout performance against UNC Asheville Friday night. Wolf totaled a career-high three service aces, a match-best .455 hitting percentage and her first career solo block.

Double or Nothing
With 15 matches under her belt, freshman Chesly Kimes has a double-double in six of those. She’s tallied a double-double in each of Coastal’s Tuesday night matches and has double-doubles against Samford, Gardner-Webb and Presybetrian.

That’s Our Setter?
Sophomore Megan Tracey is normally the one setting up the offensive plays. Against Presbyterian, not only did Tracey set up the offense with 52 assists, but she helped defensively with 17 digs, the second-highest for Coastal. It was third time in her career she’s had at least 17 digs in a match.

Starbuck Tops Single Season Dig Total
With 69 digs last week, junior Brett Starbuck has a new single season high for digs. She now has 350 on the season, which is 37 better than her single season best of 313 from last year.

A Top Notch Start
Coastal is off to a 2-0 start in the Big South. The Lady Chanticleers’ best start in conference action was an 8-0 start in 1996, the same year Coastal won the Big South Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

On The Road Again

Coastal returns to the road for the first time in nearly a month this weekend. The Lady Chanticleers were last away from Kimbel Arena Sept. 7-8 at the Comfort Suites 49ers Volleyball Tournament at Charlotte.

Coastal Travels to Radford
The Lady Chanticleers kick off the road portion of their conference schedule  on Friday night at Radford. It is just the second time in program history in which Coastal’s opens road conference action at Radford. The previous meeting resulted in a 3-0 Lady Chanticleer win Oct. 4, 2002.

Eight-Match Homestand Comes To An End

The Lady Chanticleers wrapped up their eight-match homestand on Saturday with a 6-2 record. Coastal’s eight home matches was its second longest span of home matches since 1988. The longest stretch is 12 matches in 2003. Coastal, who went 8-4 in that stretch, hosted a pair of tournaments and then welcomed UNC Wilmington, High Point, Charlotte, Charleston Southern, Radford and Liberty that season.

Kimbel Sweet Kimbel
Coastal Carolina knows how to defend its home court. Since 1987, the Lady Chanticleers are 167-90 in home matches, including having won 11 of their last 14 matches at Kimbel Arena.

The Home Court Advantage

Coastal has gone 13-6 in its first Big South Conference home match since 1988. In her tenure, head coach Kristen Bauer has guided the Lady Chants to a 6-3 record in conference home openers.

Cleaning Out The House
In its last 11 home-openers, Coastal Carolina is 7-4. Out of those 11, eight matches had scores of 3-0, including six of Coastal’s wins.

Closing Out September
