CONWAY, S.C. - Coastal Carolina's Katherine Jensen-Spencer (Vancouver, B.C./Sentinel Secondary/Mississippi) was named the Big South Conference Player of the Week in Volleyball for the week ending September 25. Jensen-Spencer was given this honor for leading the Lady Chanticleers to a 3-1 win over conference foe Charleston Southern Sept. 21. She recorded a Big South season-high 29 kills against the Lady Buccaneers, hitting .400, while averaging 7.25 kills per game. The outside hitter tallied three service aces and came up big on the back row, recording 29 digs.
