Volleyball Falls to Clemson, 3-1 at the Clemson Invitational

CLEMSON, S.C.-- The Coastal Carolina volleyball team fell to Clemson, 3-1 Saturday morning in match two of the 2002 Clemson Invitational. The Lady Chants won game one 30-24, but Clemson rallied to claim the next three games 30-22, 31-29 and 30-21.

Coastal Carolina (6-5) had two players record double-doubles in kills and digs. Jeanne Lambert tallied 18 kills with 23 digs, and Katie Knutson posted 17 kills with 13 digs. Sarah Bennett also had 11 kills.

Clemson (7-6) was led by Leslie Finn who had 21 kills with 12 digs. Lori Ashton also had 20 kills on the match. Carly Hill had five servies aces for the Tigers.

The Lady Chants will face Virginia Tech later on today.
