Volleyball Opens up Big South Play with a 3-0 Win over Charleston Southern

CONWAY, S.C.-- The Coastal Carolina volleyball team opened up Big South play in fine fashion, with a 3-0 (30-22, 30-28, 30-21) victory over Charleston Southern, Tuesday evening in Kimbel Arena.

Coastal Carolina (8-5, 1-0) was led by Lauren Wozniak who recorded ten kills on the evening, while Jeanne Lambert registered nine kills along with 14 digs. Jennifer Hampton, the reigning Big South Freshman of the Week, recorded 26 assists.

Charleston Southern (3-13, 0-1) was led by Rebecca Miller who had 11 kills, while Katie O'Riordan posted 26 assists.

The Lady Chants will next face Birmingham- Southern at home on Sunday at 2 p.m.
