Volleyball Falls to Davidson, 3-1 at the First Night of the Davidson Tournament

DAVIDSON, N.C. — The CCU Volleyball team fell to Davidson, 3-1 in the opening night of the Davidson Tournament held in Belk Arena in Davidson, N.C.

Davidson (4-1) was led by Latisha Chapman with 22 kills in 34 attempts and Roberta Quis who 13 kills in 26 attemps. Nicole Tonelli had 44 assists to help pace the Wildcats.

CCU (3-1) was led by senior Jeanne Lambert who had 15 kills and Katie Knutson who had 10. Jennifer Hampton had 36 assists for the Lady Chants.

The Lady Chants will return to Belk Arena on Saturday, for the final day of the Davidson Tournament. CCU will face N.C. A&T at 10 a.m. and SE Louisiana at 4:30 p.m.
