MONROE, La. - The Coastal Carolina volleyball team continued its current winning streak Friday evening, winning its fifth straight match at ULM with a three-set sweep (25-13, 25-14, 25-17).

The win improves Coastal to 11-7 overall, and 8-1 in Sun Belt play. ULM, meanwhile, falls to 4-19 overall and remains winless in the conference at 0-6.

Freshman Kyla Manning paced the Chants in the victory, putting down 12 kills with a .450 hitting percentage. Leah Hardeman followed with eight kills and a .412 hitting percentage.

Coastal totaled an impressive 11 service aces, including four by Dora Lulic, three by Sydney Alvis and two by Sara Boothe. Alvis also had a team-high of 10 digs.

ULM began the match by winning the first four points, but Coastal went on a 13-2 run to take firm control of the opening set. The Chants' strong play continued throughout the set, as they finished the period on an 8-3 run.

The Warhawks grabbed another early lead in the second set before Coastal won seven of the next eight points to take the lead for good. The middle frame also featured runs of seven and four straight points as the Chants cruised to a double-digit set win.

The final game was all Coastal as the Chants took an early 5-1 lead and remained in front for the remainder of the match.

The Chants are back in action Saturday night for a 6:30 p.m. (CT) match at Louisiana.
