2009 Coastal Carolina Volleyball Senior Night

The Coastal Carolina Volleyball Team held Senior Night on Nov. 6, 2009 against Presbyterian

**Averaging 2.81 kills per game for her career, which ranks sixth all-time at Coastal Carolina... Ranks third in career block assists with 228 and fifth in total blocks with 294 in the Chanticleer record book... Ranks seventh in kills in Coastal Carolina history with 1,053...

Junior Season (2008): Appeared in all 36 matches and tied for second in most games played in a season with 131... An ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III University Division First Team selection... Named Big South Scholar-Athlete of the Year and selected to the league's All-Academic team... Led the Big South in blocks tallying 156 total blocks, the third-highest in a single season by a Chanticleer, and averaged 1.19 rejections per game... Finished seventh in the Big South in hitting percentage at .259, which included 242 kills... Surpassed the 1,000th kill plateau in the win against Winthrop (Nov. 11)... Posted 117 solo blocks ranking her second in the single season record book... Had a season-high 13 kills against Radford (Oct. 25) and Presbyterian (Nov. 15) and had seven matches where she registered double figures in kills... Recorded her first double-double of the season with 13 kills and a career-high 11 blocks in the win against Presbyterian (Nov. 15)... Named to the South Carolina State Spikefest All-Tournament team... Had six kills and career-highs of five service aces and four blocks against Winston-Salem State (Aug. 28)... Had 12 kills and five blocks in the Big South Semifinal match against High Point (Nov. 22)... Had a team-best eight total blocks adding four kills at Charleston Southern (Sept. 30)... Picked up eight kills while hitting .700 from the floor against North Carolina Central (Sept. 19)...

Sophomore Season (2007): Appeared in all 32 matches and 116 games played... Named to ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District III University Division Second Team and the Big South Conference All-Academic Team... Was a Big South All-Tournament selection after connecting on 24 kills off 49 total attacks for a .429 hitting percentage in two matches... Named to the Comfort Suites 49ers Volleyball Classic All-Tournament Team after tallying 58 kills, averaging 4.83 kills per game and totaling eight blocks... Also received Big South Conference Choice Hotels Player of the Week honors Sept. 10 after her performance at the Comfort Suites 49ers Volleyball Classic... Selected to the Preseason All-Big South Conference Team... Second on the team with a 3.51 kill per game average... Had a season-best .593 hitting percentage against Radford in the Big South Tournament (Nov. 15), with 17 kills off 27 total attacks with one error... Recorded a 26-kill, 14-dig double-double versus Morgan State (Sept. 8)... Had a season-best five total blocks on two occasions... Had a team-best 18 block solos... Freshman Season (2006): One of two players to appear in all 33 matches and tied a program-record with 128 games played... Big South All-Freshman Team selection... Named to the Big South All-Tournament Team after hitting .333 and tallying 48 kills off 102 total attack... Named Big South New Balance Freshman of the Week on Sept. 25 after totaling 35 kills, 16 digs and four blocks in three matches... Collected Big South Choice Hotels Player of the Week honors on Nov. 6 with a team-best .328 hitting percentage and recording 59 kills off 128 total attack... Team leader in kills, total attack and hitting percentage... Reached double-digits in kills in 22 matches... Recorded 404 kills off 1047 total attack... Averaged 3.16 kills per game and hit .215...Had a career-high 27 kills in the Big South semifinals against UNC Asheville (Nov. 17)... Hit a career-best .452 at Charleston Southern (Sept. 23)... Her 73 blocks were third highest on the team... Recorded eight total blocks (2 block solo, 6 block assists) versus South Carolina State (Oct. 3)...
