CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women’s track and field team was named to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team. It is the seventh consecutive year the women’s track and field team has earned this honor.

To make the list, the team must have a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Chanticleers earned their spot with a 3.158 combined GPA.

Chanticleer Amber White earned All-Academic Individual honors by the USTFCCCA with a 3.839 GPA. White graduated in May and participated in the NCAA East Regionals as a member of the Chanticleer’s 4 x 400 meter relay team. She was a Big South Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Champion in 2007 and holds the Big South 400 meter record. To be considered for this honor the individual had to qualify for NCAA Regionals and have at least a 3.25 GPA.
