ROCK HILL, S.C.-Coastal Carolina University men and women’s track and field participated in the hammer throw at the Asics/Winthrop Carolina’s Cup on Friday, April 9. 

 

In women’s hammer, Brittany Connor threw for the longest mark in the event of 161’1” (49.10 meters). Following her was Robin Callan with a throw of 152’4.75” (46.45 meters) and Tenasia White with 139’9.50” (42.61 meters).

 

In men’s hammer, Jason Jensen threw for the longest collegiate mark of 195’6.75” (59.61 meters). Tyler Swanson followed with a throw of 153’7” (46.81 meters) and Derrick El-Nou Nou at 119’6.25” (36.43 meters).

 

Both men’s and women’s track and field will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., to take part in the Joe Hilton Carolina Fast Times Track and Field Meet tomorrow, Saturday, April 10.
