WILMINGTON, N.C. - The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team saw two of its competitors finish runner-up in their respective singles flight Sunday morning at the Wilmington Invitational. 

Freshman Mikaela Kristofersson fell in the finals of the A1 singles flight to Olga Blank of UNC Wilmington.  Kristofersson won the first set 5-7, but Blank answered by winning the finals two sets by scores of 6-4 and 10-6 to claim the individual title.

Fellow freshman Kourtney Kowal dropped a 6-3, 6-1 decision to Angie Sekely in the championship match of the B1 singles flight.
