ROCK HILL, S.C. – The second-seeded Coastal Carolina women's tennis team (16-5) won the doubles point and three singles matches as the Lady Chanticleers defeated Radford University 4-0, in the third match of the 2005 Big South Women’s Tennis Championship at the Winthrop Memorial Courts, on Thursday afternoon, Apr. 14

Those that recorded the victories in the three singles matches for the Lady Chants, are junior Virginie Dinh ( Maisons Alberta, France/Sophia), sophomores Sarize Coetzee (Bloemfontein, South Africa/Oranje Meisieskool (Texas Tech)) and Nicole Lemmerer (Bad Mittendorf, Austria/Borg Bad Aussee). All the singles matches were won 6-0, 6-0. The team of reigning Big South Women's Player of the Year, senior Marie Matrka (Wilmington, Ohio) and Dinh won the first doubles match, 8-3. While the final doubles match was won for Coastal by Coetzee and junior Rosemary Younger (Atlanta, Ga./Marist), 8-0.

Coastal Carolina will play the winner of the Birmingham-Southern/UNC Asheville match in the second semifinal Friday at 1:00 pm at the Winthrop Memorial Courts.
