Women's Tennis Signs Pair for 2002 Class

CONWAY, S.C. — Coastal Carolina University Head Women's Tennis Coach Jody Davis announced today the signing of Petra Jantti and Rosemary Younger.

Jantti, a native of Espoo, Finland, will enter CCU as a freshman after graduating from Tapiolan Lukio High School. She has consistently been ranked as one of the top five juniors in Finland and is currently ranked second.

Younger, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, will become a Lady Chanticleer after graduating from Marist High School. She has helped Coach Francis Kissel's War Eagles to three consecutive Georgia State Championships, two at AAA and once at AAAA, and has the team poised to win a fourth consecutive this year. Younger is currently ranked 16th in Georgia and has an 11-1 record for Marist High so far this season. During her four-year prep career, she has a 27-3 overall record and is serving the squad as a co-captain this season.
