DAVIDSON, N.C. Senior Emma Kidd posted her 200th collegiate victory to lead Coastal Carolina's women's tennis team to a 6-1 victory over Davidson College.
Kidd, a native of Victoria, Austraila, teamed with Marie Matrka for an 8-1 victory at number two doubles and then won in straight sets at number one singles to notch win number 200. She now owns career records of 111-17 in singles and 89-20 in doubles. Kidd, the three-time Big South Conference Player of the Year, became the first CCU player in history to win 100 singles matches earlier this season and is now the first to post a combined 200 victories.
Coastal Carolina, now 13-4 overall this season, will play at Charlotte tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
