Women's Tennis Defeats Campbell 6-1
The Coastal Carolina University women’s tennis team (12-4) won its sixth straight match with a 6-1 win over Campbell University March 30 in Buies Creek, N.C.
Coastal lost the doubles point, but won all six singles matches in straight sets. That included a 6-0, 6-0 win by senior Virginie Dinh (Maisons Albert, France) over Nina Surviladeze. Junior Petra Jantti (Haukiverkko Espo, Finland) and sophomore Sarize Coetzee (Bloemfontein, South Africa) also had 6-0 sets in victories over Scarlet Alfonzo and Kathleen Rollet, respectively.
Coastal will travel to Lynchburg, Va., to face Liberty Saturday, April 2, at 1 p.m.
