CONWAY, S.C. -- The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team continued their success this season, winning at home over Memphis, 7-0, Mar. 25. With the victory, the Lady Chanticleers advance to 17-1, while the Tigers fall to 3-8 on the year.

Coastal swept all three doubles matches, with senior Virginie Dinh (Maisons Albert, France/Sophia) and junior Hayley Rudman (Johannesburg, South Africa/Northcliff High School (MIssissippi State)) getting a 9-8 victory over Andrea Feichtinger and Alex Tjioe, winning the tiebreaker 8-5. Senior Petra Jantti (Haukiverkko Espo, Finland/Tapiolan Lukio) and sophomore Amy Pazahanick (Canton, Georgia/Brookwood High School (Georgia Southern)) ran their record to 15-0 in doubles play this season with an 8-4 victory at No. 2 doubles over Christina Wieser and Kristin Noble.

In singles, Coastal got convincing straight-set wins in five of the six matches. The only match to go the distance was No. 6 singles, as junior Nicole Lemmerer (Bad Mitterndorf, Austria/Borg Bad Aussee) won over Memphis' Flavia Russo in the third-set tiebreaker, 10-2.

Coastal continues home action Sun., Mar. 26, hosting Big South Conference-rival Birmingham-Southern at 1 p.m.
