Head coach Jody Davis said, This ranking is a testament to our team and the dedication of our players. One of our goals this year was to achieve a ranking. We obviously know that the ranking means nothing when you get into competition and that teams on our schedule will be extra motivated to play well against us.
Our program has come a long way over the years and credit goes to past players and present players that have worked hard to achieve this recognition for our University. Our primary goal remains unchanged, and that is to win the Big South Conference Tournament next month.
