Women’s Tennis Falls to College of Charleston, 6-0

Conway, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina women’s tennis team (5-3) fell to Southern Conference rival College of Charleston (3-2), 6-0 Mar. 2nd in Conway, S.C. at the Billy Nichols Tennis Center.

The Lady Chants lost the five singles matches despite strong play from sophomore Sarize Coetzee (Bloemfontein, South Africa) and the Cougars won all of the doubles matches

Coastal will have a busy week of action as they travel to Birmingham, Ala on for a pair of weekend games out of state. The first match will begin on Friday against Conference USA rival UAB (5-3) and conference rival Birmingham-Southern (3-4, 1-0).
