Women's Tennis Remains Undefeated After A 6-1 Win Over Appalachian State

CONWAY, S.C. Coastal Carolinas womens tennis (9-0, 1-0 Big South) team continued their perfect season with a 6-1 win over Appalachian State Sunday, Feb. 26.
The Lady Chanticleers swept the doubles matches highlighted by a 8-0 win from Sarize Coetzee (Bloemfontein, South Africa/Oranje Meisieskool (Texas Tech)) and Sofie Ahlberg (Stockholm,Sweden/Adalsskolan).
Amy Pazahanick (Canton, Ga./Brookwood (Georgia Southern) recorded her ninth straight win in singles play as she defeated Monica Tomas, 7-5, 6-2. Hayley Rudman (Johannesburg, South Africa/Northcliff High School (Mississippi State University)), Virginie Dinh (Maisons Albert, France/Sophia) , Ahlberg, and Coetzee were all victorious in singles action for CCU.
The Lady Chants will now travel to Charleston, S.C. to face Chattanooga Saturday, March 4 at 10:30 a.m.
