Coastal posted 8-3 wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles by the combinations of junior Maria Camberos (San Luis Potosi, Mexico/Instituto Lomar del Real)/junior Tina Petkova (Oakville, Ontario, Canada/St. Ignatius of Loyola) and sophomore Kim Webb (Usk, Wales/Millfield School)/senior Sofie Ahlberg (Stockholm, Sweden/Adalsskolan), respectively, while getting a win at No. 1 doubles by an 8-6 margin from freshman Lexi Bolesky (Lexington, Ohio/Lexington) and senior Amy Pazahanick (Canton, Georgia/Brookwood (Georgia Southern)).
In singles, the Lady Chants got victories at No. 2, 3, 5 and 6 to get the victory in the dual match. Webb, Ahlberg and Camberos won in straight sets at Nos. 3, 5 and 6, respectively. Pazahanick went three sets to get a victory at No. 2 singles over Jenny Gomes, 6-4, 0-6, 6-4. Bolesky had to retire at No. 1 singles due to a nagging injury, dropping the match to Laura Kreitt by a score of 6-2, 3-3 ret.
