The Chanticleers are coming off an impressive season, posting an 18-6 overall record, a 6-2 mark in league play and reached the Big South tournament championship.

Second year head coach Catherine Hewitt returns three players and will rely of four freshmen to keep the Chants in the upper half of the league. Kourtney Kowal was 12-6 last season and 17-5 in doubles, including a 7-1 conference record in doubles action and winning the Big South No.3 doubles flight.

Coastal will begin the dual meet portion of its schedule on Jan. 31 at Furman before traveling to Western Carolina Feb. 1. The Chants will return to Conway for a four-match home stand starting Feb. 9 versus Savannah State.
