With the win the Chanticleers improve to 16-4 overall and 4-2 in the Big South, while Presbyterian drops to 8-15-1 overall and remains winless in conference play with a 0-8 record.
The Chants took an early 1-0 lead, earning the doubles point with wins on the second and third doubles courts.
Coastal partners Libby Scott and de Wit won 8-3 at No. 2, downing Patricia Alves and Carolina Ferrari of Presbyterian.

PC won the No. 1 doubles match where Greer Ransom and Courtney Gardiner edged Kowal and Honami Yazawa in a tight 8-7 match.
The Chanticleers continued to perform well as the match moved to singles, claiming the remaining six points.
Scott took a 7-5, 6-2 win over Ransom at No. 1, while Yazawa recorded a point for Coastal at No. 2 after Gardiner was forced to retire midway through the first set.
