CONWAY - The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team remained undefeated in Big South play with a 7-0 shutout win over Presbyterian College on Sunday at the Billy Nichols Tennis Center.
Coastal (13-3, 5-0) won all three doubles matches to take the doubles point. The Chants proceeded to win all six matches with five of them coming in straight sets over the Blue Hose (7-11, 0-5).
"I am proud of the girls today," said head coach Catherine Hewitt. "They came out and executed our game plan well. We wanted to bring energy and intensity onto every court."
Coastal will travel to Rock Hill on Friday, April 6 to take on conference foe Winthrop with first-place in the Big South on the line.
"We are looking forward to a great week of practice in preparation for Winthrop on Friday," added Hewitt.

Coastal’s postponed match against UNC Asheville on Saturday, March 31 has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 14 at 2 p.m.
