BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - Coastal Carolina women's tennis team improves to 10-1 on the year while pushing its record to 3-0 in Big South play with a 4-3 victory over Garder-Webb Saturday afternoon.
"Gardner Webb is a solid team, this is a good conference win on the road for us," said first year head coach Catherine Hewitt. "We kept our cool and competed hard today."
Coastal won the doubles point followed by three straight singles match wins to clinch its 10th victory of the year.
The Chanticleers stay on the road to face the Charlotte 49ers on Sunday, March 18th. First serve is set for 11 a.m. in Charlotte, N.C.
