ORLANDO, Fla. -  The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team posted wins over both Navy and Drake Tuesday as the Chanticleers continue play in Orlando, Fla.

Coastal Carolina opened the day with a 6-1 victory over Navy and quickly jumped out to a 1-0 lead by sweeping all three doubles matches.  Juniors Miki Bunea and Diana Mortlock started things with an 8-0 shutout of Emani Decquir and Stefanie Ton and No. 2. 

Senior Lexi Bolesky and freshman Mikaela Kristofersson clinched the point with an 8-2 win over Amanda Griffin and Dye Das.  Senior Caitlyn Brooksbank and sophomore Amanda Malatek completed the sweep at No. 3 with an 8-5 victory over Brittney Boucher. 

Bunea put the Chants ahead 2-0 after besting Decquir 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 before Bolesky upped the lead to 3-0 with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Griffin at No. 1. 

Mortlock sealed the victory for Coastal with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 5 over Snook.  Kristofersson earned a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Darien Sears at No. 4, while freshman Maria Hesketh closed the match with a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 6 over Boucher. 

The Chanticleers capped the evening with a 6-1 win over Drake to post its third straight victory.  Drake earned a victory at No. 3 doubles to start the match, but Coastal answered by winning the final two contests to take the point.  Bolesky and Kristofersson turned in an 8-3 win over Jessica Aquilera and Manca Krizman at No. 1 before Bunea and Mortlock downed Gabriela Demos and Klavdija Rebol 8-6 at No. 2 to complete the comeback. 

Coastal took five of the six singles matches to cruise to the victory.  Bolesky defeated Krizman 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1, Bunea bested Rebol 6-2, 6-2 and No. 2 and Kristofersson downed Aquilera 6-1, 6-4 at No. 3.

Mortlock posted a 7-5, 6-0 win over Ali Patterson at No. 5, while Hesketh earned a 7-5, 6-0 victory over Amanda Aragon at No. 6. 

"It was a long day for out team with two matches played 12 hours apart," Coastal Carolina head coach Jody Davis said. "Our girls really pulled together tonight and preserved against a good Drake team."

The Chanticleers continue play in Orlando Wednesday against Bradley.
