Lexi Bolesky, who played for Coastal Carolina from 2007-11, continued her relationship with the Chanticleer women's tennis program as a volunteeer assistant beginning in the fall of 2012. Bolesky was then hired as an assistant coach for the Chanticleers in the spring of 2014.
In 2016, Bolesky helped the Chanticleers to a third-place finish in the Big South in the program's final year of competition with the conference. Coastal finished 18-7 overall - its third straight season with at least 16 wins - and added a 7-2 mark in league play. The Chants advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament, and had four student-athletes voted All-Big South as Libby Scott and Sara Bondar were first team selections, Romane Delay was a second team selection and Marie Babayan made the All-Academic Team.
In 2014, Bolesky helped the Chants reach the semifinal of the Big South Championship for the 20th time in program history. Coastal wrapped the season with an 18-7 overall record while finishing 5-4 in Big South matches. Three student-athletes were All-Big South selections while Honami Yazawa was named the conference's Freshman of the Year and Dominique de Wit earned Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors and the Big South's Christenberry Award.
With Bolesky's assistance, the 2013 Chanticleers went 10-11 with a 5-5 Big South record before losing to Liberty in the first round of the Big South Tournament.
Bolesky played four years on the Coastal women's team from 2007-11 and was a three-time Big South All-Conference player in both singles and doubles.
Bolesky finished her senior year with a 21-12 singles record to finish with a 74-44 (.627) record in singles play. She also posted a 23-7 mark in doubles during her last season, finishing her career at 74-39 (.655) in doubles.
