Lexi Bolesky, who played for Coastal Carolina from 2007-11, continued her relationship with the Chanticleer women's tennis program as a volunteeer assistant beginning in the fall of 2012. Bolesky was then hired as an assistant coach for the Chanticleers in the spring of 2014Bolesky helped the Chanticleers to a share of the Big South regular season championship in 2015 as Coastal finished 16-6 overall with an 8-1 mark against conference opponents. The Chants earned the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament where they advanced to championship match before eventually falling to top-seeded Charleston Southern. The 2015 campaign included a 12-match winning streak that spanned over a month of the regular season. Several Chants were awarded individual honors as Libby Scott and Honami Yazawa were named all-conference singles selections.
In 2014, Bolesky helped the Chants reach the semifinal of the Big South Championship for the 20th time in program history. Coastal wrapped the season with an 18-7 overall record while finishing 5-4 in Big South matches. Three student-athletes were All-Big South selections while Honami Yazawa was named the conference's Freshman of the Year and Dominique de Wit earned Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors and the Big South's Christenberry Award.
With Bolesky's assistance, the 2013 Chanticleers went 10-11 with a 5-5 Big South record before losing to Liberty in the first round of the Big South Tournament.
Bolesky played four years on the Coastal women's team from 2007-11 and was a three-time Big South All-Conference player in both singles and doubles.
Bolesky finished her senior year with a 21-12 singles record to finish with a 74-44 (.627) record in singles play. She also posted a 23-7 mark in doubles during her last season, finishing her career at 74-39 (.655) in doubles.
The Lexington, Ohio native graduated during the fall of 2011 with a degree in Recreation and Sport Management.
