CONWAY - The Coastal Carolina softball team has signed Morgan Noad and Briana Chiusano to National Letters of Intent, announced head coach Kelley Green.

"Morgan impressed us right from the start. She has proven that she has the tools to make an immediate impact right away behind the plate and in our lineup," commented Green.
Chiusano is a 5-6 center fielder from Mansfield High School in Mansfield, Mass. The Hornets have finished second in the Hockomock League each of the past three seasons. Chiusano has been named to the Sun Chronicle All-Star Team during her freshman through junior seasons, while she was selected to the Hockomock All-Star Team and the Boston Globe All-Star Team her junior season. During her junior season, Chiusano recorded a career-high .514 batting average, 36 hits and went 34 for 34 on stolen base attempts, which is a school record. In her first season at Mansfield High School Chiusano tallied 15 RBI and five doubles.
"Bri is one of the fastest players that we have seen throughout the country. She will be a big-time threat each time she comes to the plate and will be a spark at the top of our lineup," stated Kelley.
