CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University softball team will be hosting two softball skills clinics this fall at the Coastal Carolina Softball Field with the first on Sunday, Oct. 24 and the second on Sunday, Nov. 7.  Each clinic will be divided into three sessions and click here for more information.

The Coastal Softball clinics will offer an opportunity for players to receive valuable instruction on the fundamental skills of softball. Campers will be made aware of the characteristics that define successful softball players. Organized games between campers will provide a competitive outlet after specific drills have been practiced. Contests built into drills capture the learner's attention, which results in attentive practice.

Second-year head coach Kelley Green and assistants Ali Ferrari, Kate Refsnyder and Julia Popovich will be staffing the clinics.  Green led the Chanticleers to a 27-31 record last season and tied for third place in the Big South Tournament.  In 2006 and 2009, she led Lock Haven University to NCAA Division II National titles.
