Her 67 hits on the season placed her fourth in the conference while her 35 stolen bases were second. For the season the outfielder had a .438 on-base percentage and a .448 slugging percentage.
She played in 51 games, starting 50 and scored 33 runs from her lead-off position. The all-region honor is just the latest in a string of honors which include not only the All-Sun Belt award this season, but was the Big South Freshman of the Year last season as well as being named to the All-Big South Team following the 2016 season.
The awards honor softball student-athletes from the NFCA's 10 regions and are voted on by the NFCA member coaches from each region. All honorees now become eligible for selection to the 2017 NFCA Division I All-American teams.
