CONWAY - The storms that made their way through Conway during Thursday and early Friday morning caused a delay of three hours before Coastal Carolina and Appalachian started their scheduled double-header.

In the second inning Angele Buccilli singles in Alexis Alvino who had led off the inning with a walk.

CCU then pushed across an unearned run in the fifth and added two more runs on one hit and another error in the sixth for the final count.

Appalachian State scored their lone run in the third inning when a Haley Stewart single scored Megan Walker who had earlier walked and stole second.
