CONWAY - The Coastal Carolina softball team plays its final home Big South Conference series of the season this weekend as it welcomes Presbyterian College. Saturday's doubleheader remains scheduled for 1 p.m. at Carolina Forest High School. The teams will then play a single game on Sunday, beginning at 1 p.m., as Coastal celebrates Senior Day.

Coming off three dramatic one-run victories in the middle of the week, the Chanticleers (28-18 overall) enter the weekend in a tie for second place in the Big South at 13-5, one game behind Campbell.

CCU is two victories away from its second straight 30-win season and the 13th in the 28-year history of the program. The Chants are also closing in on the school's single-season home run record. They have totaled 55 this season, four off their 2012 total and just seven behind the all-time mark of 62, set in 2007. For the first time, Coastal has three players who have hit at least 10 home runs in a season. Kory Hayden leads with 13, Morgan Noad has hit 11 and Kiana Quolas is now at 10 after homering in three straight games.

Presbyterian (19-24, 5-10) stands seventh in the conference, having lost seven of its last nine games.
