CONWAY - For the second straight day, play in the Chanticleer Challenge softball tournament was postponed by rain on Friday. Five games are now scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday, with Coastal Carolina playing in two each day.

On Saturday, the Chanticleers will take on Furman on 4:30 p.m., followed by a matchup against Bryant University at 6:45 p.m. Coastal's two games on Sunday will be against Appalachian State at 12 p.m. and versus Furman again at 2:15 p.m.

Coastal's originally scheduled doubleheader against Eastern Illinois for Monday will still be played, with the first game beginning at 1 p.m. However, a game between Furman and Bryant will be played at 10 a.m.

The entire tournament schedule is below.

Coastal takes an 11-4 record into the tourney, including 10-2 at home. Offensively, Kory Hayden, who now sits second all-time at Coastal with 38 home runs, leads the Big South this season with eight homers and 23 RBIs, while ranking second in slugging and third in runs scored. Bri Chiusano, who already ranks third in school history with 45 career stolen bases, is the conference leader in runs with 18, steals with 16 and walks with 13. She also ranks second in on-base percentage and fifth in batting.

In the circle, Kiana Quolas is tops in the Big South with six wins and 56 strikeouts, while ranking first among starters in opponents' batting average and second in ERA (1.30). Ashley Bagwell, who has moved up fifth in career wins at CCU with 48, stands second in the league behind Quolas in wins and ranks fourth in ERA and strikeouts and fifth in opponents' batting average. The duo has limited opposing offenses to two or fewer runs in 12 of their 14 combined starts.

Appalachian State won the Southern Conference regular-season title last year. The Mountaineers (6-11) started out 0-6, but have gone 6-5 since then including two wins over Charleston Southern last weekend. Furman (9-7) has won nine of its last 11, including a sweep of Gardner-Webb on Wednesday. The Paladins also beat Winthrop twice, Liberty once and split with Presbyterian. Bryant (1-4), meanwhile, has not played in two weeks.

Jacksonville State (11-5) reached their fifth NCAA Regional in six years in 2013. Senior pitcher Tiffany Harbin was the Ohio Valley Conference tournament MVP last year. Fellow OVC team Eastern Illinois was the regular-season champion last season and is 13-6 this year. Senior pitcher Hanna Mennenga, the 2013 OVC Pitcher of Year, is 8-1 with a 1.71 ERA in 12 appearances.
