CONWAY, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina University baseball and softball teams will have 51 regular season games video streamed on the Big South Network, it was announced today.
Baseball’s season opener against Boston College Feb. 18 is one of the 27 games to be video streamed on the Big South Network. The schedule includes contests against Tennessee Tech, Indiana, Virginia Tech, Ball State, Marshall, Kent State, Notre Dame and Alabama-Birmingham. Conference series games will also be broadcasted on the Big South Network, including Liberty, Gardner-Webb, VMI, Radford and Charleston Southern as well as midweek games including The Citadel and UNC Wilmington.
Softball’s 2011 debut on the Big South Network will be against Boston College at the Coastal Carolina Invitational on Friday, Feb. 25, and will be the first of 24 games that can be watched. The schedule will feature several doubleheader non-conference games, including Georgetown, College of Charleston and UNC Wilmington, as well as full coverage of the Chanticleer Challenge tournament. Fans can also watch Big South match ups against Winthrop, Charleston Southern, Gardner-Webb and Liberty.
