2017 (Freshman): Played in 55 games, started 54 as she saw time at first (28 games), catcher (25 games), and third (1 game). . . First on the team with 11 home runs, 27 walks, and 11 multi-RBI. . . Totaled 31 hits and second on the team with 31 RBI . . . Had four two-hit games highlighted by a 2-for-2 with two home runs and three RBI in a 6-2 win over Robert Morris on Mar. 9. . . . In the field, she was first on the team with a .994 fielding percentage.

At Collinsville HS: Smith is a three-time All-Southwestern Conference selection honoree and is coming off her junior season of setting Collinsville High School's career home run record (21). During her junior season, Smith hit .457 while having 48 hits. She recorded 16 doubles, two triples, six home runs, and 34 RBIs. In 2014, was voted to the all-state 2nd team by the Illinois Coaches Association following a .458 batting average with a career-high of 54 hits. Smith also had a career-high of 12 home runs during the 2014 season, which set the school record for most home runs in a season. Smith was a two time Belleville News-Democrat all-area 2nd team selection and a two-time St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro 2nd team selection.
