Played in 35 games with 30 starts as a designated player/pitcher... Hit .225 with two home runs and 13 RBIs... Had 20 hits and nine walks on the year as a hitter... As a pitcher led the team in wins (12), innings pitched (127.2), strikeouts (112) and was second on the team with a 2.52 ERA... Had a home run and five RBIs against Gardner-Webb (3/15)... Got her first collegiate win by going six innings and giving up just four hits and no earned runs in a 10-2 win over Hampton at the UNCW Lady Seahawk Classic... Had a season-high eight strikeouts at UNC Wilmington in a 3-0 victory... Also was a contributor at the plate, with a .224 batting average with three RBIs and a pair of runs scored... Helped her pitching effort out against St. Bonaventure at the Hokie Fastpitch Classic, driving in the game-winning run and giving up just three hits in a 3-2 victory.

High School: Pitched Marcus to a 23-5 record and a runner-up finish in District 6-5A, earning First Team All-Area from the Fort Worth Star Telegram and Second Team honors from the Dallas Morning News... Posted a 0.57 ERA with 244 strikeouts and 20 walks in 180 innings pitched as a senior... Named Co-MVP in District 6-5A and MVP for Northeast Area Team by the Star Telegram... Also hit .424 with six home runs and 28 RBIs... Was the only pitcher in leading the Marauders to a District title and Bi-District championship with an 18-9 record, earning Second Team All-Area honors from both the Star Telegram and Morning News and district MVP honors... Graduated in the top 60 in her class of almost 600... Was a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Student Council and the Honor Roll.
